Medical Compression Stockings In Toronto Swollen Ankles?

Swollen ankles? - medical compression stockings in toronto

My feet and ankles swell a lot, especially in summer. I have health problems that I know, I have good blood pressure, I'm a little more weight and exercise is not enough. I also have swollen fingers, hands, forearms and my face is all swollen. Why is this so? What should I do? I wear compression stockings on long haul flights, and are not very effective. It bothers me as much as it used to skirt more. This takes about 6 years. I'm in my 30 years. Help please!

Beginning of the year. You might check your blood sugar, hormone levels, thyroid (oestrogens) and Cushing. I can not think of anything else now.
If not raise your feet when you sit down and put your ankles in ice water to relieve the swelling. can lead to poor circulation.
Edit: Forgot: Electrocardiogram! The swelling is often caused by heart problems!

seems cruel, but hang from their feet. It is to be more liquid, ask your doctor about taking diuretics, which contribute to water youexpel your system.

You should also see the inclusion of salt (sodium chloride). Dodium too much in your diet can cause this problem.

Do I have too! You have what it sounds like edema. What is your heartbeat? It is the heart of the short side quickly (tachycardia), it can also cause circulatory problems in the ankles and legs. Since you are relatively healthy, has not been used for years, look at issues related to sleep. For example, you may suffer from sleep apnea and not even know, would also impact on your heart. But I agree it can be very annoying to have swollen ankles and calves. Help raise the legs at night on a pillow or two.

I would like this checked out. could be that given the slow movement of the water retention to begin, but if there is enough in order to see your life and impact. you raise your feet and watching TV in bed. but double check to pick up, to be sure.

sounds like you are holding liquids, you should drink more water and maybe a detox and avoid salty foods such as salt makes you retain fluids. You must do to pay a visit to the doctor to find out why so swell.

Take ECG and consult a cardiologist. Perform tests of renal function as well. Most doctors use the plasma concentration of creatinine, urea and electrolytes to determine renal function. These measures are sufficient to determine whether a patient is suffering from kidney disease.

"To my knowledge this is the key word. Even though I think some people are genetically predisposed to swelling (not that I am a doctor, or whatever), I thought that the hands swollen ankles / face is a sign of renal function. (A Friend has been on dialysis for a long time, I suppose.)
"Correspond to the fluctuations horomonal? Are you dehydrated? Did you eat too much salt or too many processed foods? You should get a check-up, because the swelling like you describe is also a sign of diabetes ....

It looks like water retention. Treated by a doctor. Maybe you've already thought of it. Good luck anyway.
